About the D-Prize Competition

D-Prize distribution equal development  is non-profit organization  dedicated to  improve millions of people who  living in the low and middle countries  and it is the one of the social impact organization, the organization mostly support locally led NGOs, charities, and those delivering life-changing products and service in the middle-income nation to amplify their impact in the community. So that the organization currently is accepting call for grant application to support all Entrepreneurs who will craft a pilot, entering the biannual competition, and if they successfully chosen their application will receive funding to kick start their initiative. The ultimate aim is to nurture ventures into significant, impact-focused entities.

About the Grant

D-prize challenges competition is offering award a startup fund up to $20,000 to all entrepreneurs who is starting to launch a new NGO organization, charities and ventures who based on low and middle income countries to reflect the world’s most pressing social needs to achieve a better social improvement, the new Organization will address and validated poverty solution and make a difference in the regions impacted by extreme poverty. Social impact organization is playing a vital important role to enhance lives where it is hard to reach area and high demand need still exists. This kind of seed fund will be the launching grant to growth large scale organization, where they will implement and test a pilot vision. If selected, you will receive seed support to launch.

Eligibility Criteria

D-Prize competition is only accept application from teams, individual, and new organization who is leading first-time entrepreneurs as well as who has not yet launched their social impact organization. D-prize is deeply encouraged to apply grant fund a new venture from low or middle countries that has not raised previous fund. On the other hand application from existing organization will be considered if their focus is related evidence based poverty intervention or organization contributed poverty reduction activities.   Organization has more than 18 full operation and $30,000 raised from outside in low and middle countries will not be eligible the competion

Application Process

Application will follow three main stages as indicated below:

Step 1: Applicants will submit only two page concept note and resume

Step 2: Short listed application will answer short writing question a period of two weeks

Step 3: Top candidates will have an interview and phone call to launch $20,000

Final Step 4: Award and launch and piloting their idea and building an organization

Judging Criteria

The D-Prize committee panel is composed of individuals with professional experience Distributing life-changing technologies in the developing world.

Application evaluation will be based on:

● Passion and potential for candidate’s success, as evident by their academic and Professional background, relevant skills, and quick leadership trajectory.

● Focus on distribution. Proposals must focus on distributing a proven poverty solution that needs greater access in the developing world.

Application Deadlines

Early Submission: May 18, 2025 (midnight PT)
– Regular Submission: June 8, 2025
– Extension Deadline: June 29, 2025 (registration required)
