Empowering SRHR Advocacy: Apply for Amplify Change Grants 2025

About Amplify Change

Amplify Change is a leading global independent fund organization that mainly supports advocacy in order to promote global access to SRHR. Through various methods of grant types, the organization helps and flourishes local actors to further strengthen their strong movements, campaigns, and system change alongside policy influence, and breaks taboos around the issue of sensitive cases such as adolescent reproductive health, menstrual health, safe abortion, and gender-based violence.  

In addition, Amplify Change has launched a program called Amplify Change Grants that is designed as a catalyst for positive change, and it is a funding initiative aimed at empowering local NGOs and grassroots movements on various continents, such as Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. This program’s main vision is to strengthen an advocacy campaign that advocates for sexual and reproductive rights. The Amplify change program offers an opportunity to grassroots movements and mid-level CSOs at the regional level to push for social justice and policy reforms.

Open Grant Type

Amplify change has now opened a four-type grant application that you can apply for each one separately:

  1. Opportunity Grant

This kind of grant is intended to benefit small-sized local CSOs that are involved at the grassroots level

  • Time: 1.5 to 3 years
  • Ideally, for the first time of a grant application or a new organization
  • Funding with maximum £75,000
  • Strengthening Grants

This is based on mid-level NGOs looking to expand their community-level impact and further grow their advocacy and influence

  • Have a large budget
  • Involving scaling initiatives and maintaining internal capacity
  • Network Grants

This is aimed at supporting the coalitions and alliances’ purpose

  • This kind of fund encourages collective collaboration and acting like multiple NGOs
  • Foster movement building among shared strategies
  •  
  • Partnership Grants

This kind of fund is the most extensive tier that focuses on high-level CSOs and organizations
Includes mentoring smaller partners

  • Supports national and regional movement building

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a grant, you must be a part of civil society actors, including:

  • Organizations working for women’s rights
  • Youth-driven and community based organization
  • Indigenous, faith-based, and human rights groups
  • Local social enterprises and research centers
  • Social media and communications platforms

Ineligible Entities

Not eligible the following category NGOs

  • High level income NGOs
  • An individual applying independently
  • UN entities
  • Service only organization without involving advocacy
  • Organizations have indirect funding from the international federations

Priority Areas of Focus

Amplify Change funds advocacy projects that address key SRHR challenges, including:

  • Stigma and discrimination
  • Early and forced marriage
  • Menstrual health and hygiene
  • LGBTIQ+ inclusion and safety
  • Comprehensive sexuality education
  • Access to contraception and safe abortion

Good Grant Proposal

A good grant should demonstrate the following requirements

  • Clearly demonstrate and define the SRHR problem and the local situation
  • Showcase measurable objectives and a strong, solid advocacy plan
  • Well-known key stakeholder players and influence channels
  • Demonstrate that the project intervention will complement the already existing efforts
  • Address sustainability and community safety
  • Identify gaps in capacity and outline how the grant will help bridge them

Please avoid vague proposals without mention clear strategy for change

  • Submit your application before the closing date

Evaluation Process

All eligible organizations will undergo a rigorous evaluation process:

All eligible applications go through a rigorous review involving:

  • First step screaming eligibility
  • Assess the technical and fiduciary
  • Evaluate the technical review panel only large grant scale
  • Final decision will be made based the potential impact and feasibility and equity
