About the Program
The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization is committed to leveraging and cultivating leadership and peacebuilding capacity for both women and youth. The organization has officially launched the 4th edition of the Leadership Training in Peace and Security (LTIPS) program. The program focuses on leadership training in peace and security. The program has impacted over 180 emerging leaders from 70 countries since its establishment, and it uses a 360 ° peace approach. This prestigious leadership training integrates academic, strategic, and community-based peacebuilding perspectives. The selected participant will gain various comprehensive leadership training, such as critical thinking and problem solving, and decision making with critical tools to effectively respond the contemporary peace and security challenges.
This leadership training offers unique opportunities for those interested, such as young individuals who are committed to fostering peace, promoting inclusive societies, and leading community change. LTIPS in 2025 is a life-changing platform designed to build a new generation of peace ambassadors in order to lead positive change
Theme: Sowing the Seeds of Peace by Mobilizing Youth and Women
The leadership training and peace are centered on a powerful and timely theme, “Sowing the Seeds of Peace by Mobilizing Youth and Women.”
This year’s theme reflects and emphasizes the potential roles for young women and youth who playing an active role in global peace and fostering mutual understanding across different communities. The program seeks to motivate and inspire action-oriented leadership by empowering participant to take tangible steps to promote peace within their community and beyond.
Eligibility Criteria
To meet the eligibility criteria, applicants must undergo the following points
- Your age must be between 18 and 35 years old in December 31, 2025
- Committed to active involvement in peace and security initiatives by gaining through academic study, voluntary, or work experience
- Speak well of the ICESCO’s official language such as French, English and Arabic
- Be willing and have a strong passion to promote and advance gender equality and youth empowerment
