Background

Chayn is non-profit organization dedicated to help survivors of gender-based violence. It was founded for the mission of reaching 1 million survivors of gender violence based on the organization resource and products. Chayn is leading survivor-built and creating multilingual and feminist resource designed to aid in the healing process. Chayn is offering online tools to address mental wellbeing, safety and financial independence to reach a large number of survivors across the world.

Therefore, the organization is looking for someone to work and join the team to deliver and manage social media and community help in line with Chayn new brand and community strategy.

About the Role

 This role is ideal for a social media and communication with the array of global lens, the candidate should have passion and engagement with survivors of gender-based violence and accelerate a fast-paced, mission in a various  environment. The primary role of the ideal candidate will be creating a high value of content, producing outstanding social media posts, and supporting the community efforts to foster the organization mission.

In addition, as communication and community coordinated, you should focus creating a responsive centered approach that will help survivors and creating a content that drive engagement and reach a large number of audiences. The primary platforms that the position holder will coordinate including Facebook, tiktok, Twitter, LinkedIn and medium 

Roles and Responsibility

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Maximizing the social media to reach one million survivors

• Using the organization’s products content  for media to reach a huge number of gender-based violence survivors
• Posting daily for the social media and creating  engaging content for all social media and other platforms
• Interpreting and translating overall communication strategy into a compelling for the social media content  and full take of the control of social media channels
• Helping to enhance and utilize the organization social content calendar
• Managing and creating Google AdSense and Meta Ads with all of coordination
• Close monitoring and reporting the trends come from the content creation  in order to develop in the future
• Coordinating and managing social media campaigns with support of  head of communication

2. Creating video content with and for survivors that is relatable, informative and supportive.

• Developing a survivor based signature series that will utilize video content to support survivors
• Editing and reviewing videos for both short and long time  and optimizing for social media needs
• Working alongside the teams and community of volunteers and our 1-1 messaging team who directly support our user to publish and produce video content

Essential Skills and Knowledge for Position

• Candidate should have more 4 years of experience in the area of marketing, content creation, social media and communication strategy for a global audience
• Having a enough knowledge about gender-based violence and interesting for intersectional feminism
• Knowledge and experience in writing issue focused on violence against women and trauma support
• Experience of working for diverse cultural and geographical audiences  and can communicate in difference cultural and social network
• Excellence in writing and speaking English, and other languages
• Excellent editing and proofreading skills for a variety of target audiences
• Having a high level of experience and can produce content inspiring people into tangible action

Desirable

• More understanding of the needs of survivors of gender based violence and the ecosystem support
• Working with a team of volunteers to produce ideas and create relatable content
• Having Non-gender language
• Familiarity with G-suite products
• Having experience working remotely
